Sallie's house from across the street

Sallie's House is located in Atchison, Kansas;. The house is the subject of paranormal fascination due to possession of a demon entity who responds to the name of Sallie. While events that led up to the demonic infestation of the house is unknown, the activity has effected many owners and visitors which contributes to the rise in tourists and media popularity.

History

To public knowledge, the Sallie House was constructed some time during the year of 1867 by the owner of the land Michael C. Finney as well as few surrounding properties. The property would change hands multiple times but would always be held by the Finney family until 1947, when Charles H. Finney and wife, Mildred Finney, moved. Since it's construction, the house has had four deaths within its walls. The deaths are assumed to be of natural causes.

After the last Finney to own the house left, the Sallie house sat vacant or was used as rental property until the Hubbard family moved in. While there was not much noticeable activity reported, but the daughter of the couple was observed to play with her new imaginary friend, Sallie; a friend she had never had before. It is said that the Hubbard daughter would constantly refer to Sallie when being reprimanded by her parents when she was alone with her parents. The exact time the Hubbard family resided in the house was unknown but it is speculated to be between 1990 and 1992, respectively.
