Mansfield Mansion is a former Mental Hospital from the early 1860. It remained a hospital until 1993 when it was closed down. In 1917, it was merged with Connecticut Colony for Epileptics in Mansfield, where the new 350-acre campus was opened. At first in the early days of the asylum, the staff would torcher them with electro therapy. After that there where many deaths, caused by murder, sucide and injuries from the theropy. Many patients have ran away from the hospital. It was called the Mansfield Training School and Hospital., before that it was called House of Imbeciles.
